How do I place an order?
To purchase any product on www.badelaine.com, choose your size and colour on the product page and simply click “Add to cart” to confirm your selection.  You may go back to the product pages and continue shopping or terminate your order by clicking the ‘Checkout’ button and follow the quick & easy checkout process. Once your order has been placed, within a few minutes you will receive an email with your order number and summary.

Why create an account and how does it work?
Your account is a protected area that allows you to view a summary of your orders and modify your personal data at any time. To create an account, simply select ‘My Account’ at the top right of the screen and fill in the required information. You can create your account at the very end of your visit, once you have selected the articles you want and are ready to place your order. The confidential login and password will help you access your account on your next visit to www.badelaine.com.

What happens to my personal data?
The information you provide on the BADELAINE website to open an account are strictly confidential. You have access to your data and can choose to have them removed at any time. If you want BADELAINE to delete your account and remove your data, simply email us using the “contact” section on BADELAINE’s homepage.

How do I know if my order has been taken into account?
Within a few minutes after placing your order, you will receive a confirmation email with the details of your order. At any time, you can check the status of your order by selecting "My Orders" within your account area.

How long will it take to process my order?
We process orders on a daily basis. Once payment authorisation has been confirmed, all orders placed before 4:00PM Monday to Friday are sent for preparation the same day. Orders placed after 4:00pm Monday to Thursday will be processed and dispatched within 24 hours. Orders placed after 4:00pm on a Friday or placed on a Saturday or Sunday will be processed the following Monday. Please note that there are some very busy period throughout the year such as Christmas and Sale that make it more difficult to process and dispatch orders on the same day. We will send you an “order dispatched” e-mail to confirm once your order has been shipped.

Can I save my order for later?
You’ve made your choice but are not quite sure you want to confirm your order straight away. Maybe you need a bit more time to make up your mind? Maybe you’d like to ask your friends for some advice using our Facebook or Pinterest applications? Provided the selected items are still in stock, you will find your selection as you’ve left it upon your next visit to www.badelaine.com.

All orders placed with BADELAINE can be shipped in France. It is also possible to place orders from various countries:

How can I pay?
You can pay for your order using a credit/debit card. Once at the payment information section, please choose your payment option. On the 'confirmation' page you can choose the card you would like to use (Visa, MasterCard). 
Simply enter your card number, validity date and security code. You can also purchase from BADELAINE using your PayPal account.

Is it safe to buy online from www.badelaine.com?
BADELAINE pays great attention to security matters related to the purchase of products on our website.
Our customers’ bank details are collected using the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to ensure that our customers’ information (name, address and other critically sensitive information like your credit card details) are encrypted. BADELAINE is working with CREDIT AGRICOLE e-commerce system.
Our customers’ data are not stored on our website. Information passed between your computer and our website cannot be read in the event of it being intercepted.

What are your delivery charges?
BADELAINE offers free shipping in France for all orders from 40 euros of purchase. For orders below 40 euros, shipping cost varies between is 6 euros. Products will be sent using “So Colissimo”.

For shipment outside of France, various shipping charges apply, as mentioned below:

Belgium: for an order value below 50 euros, shipping cost is 7.50 euros. From 50 euros of purchase value, BADELAINE offers free shipping. Products will be sent using “So Colissimo”.

Zone 1: Germany, Luxemburg, Netherlands, French Overseas
For an order value below 100 euros, shipping cost is 12 euros.
From 100 euros of purchase value, BADELAINE offers free shipping.

Zone 2: United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, Switzerland
For an order value below 120 euros, shipping cost is 15 euros.
From 120 euros of purchase value, BADELAINE offers free shipping.

Zone 3: Portugal, Ireland, Austria, Denmark
For an order value below 120 euros, shipping cost is 15 euros.

What are the different delivery options?
For France and Belgium, BADELAINE uses “So Colissimo”.
So Colissimo is a registered parcel delivery service. All parcels are fully insured, traceable and require a signature on delivery. Customers also have the possibility to have their parcel delivered to their work place or, if they find this option more convenient, collect it from a shop with a partnership with the So Colissimo network. Allow 2 to 3 days for delivery with So Colissimo.

For Europe and the rest of the world, BADELAINE uses “Colissimo”. Colissimo is a registered parcel delivery service. All parcels are fully insured, traceable and require a signature on delivery. Customers also have the possibility to have their parcel delivered to their work place. For Europe, allow up to 5 days for delivery.
For the rest of the world, allow up to 10 days for delivery.

The above times are to be used as general guidelines only; deliveries can occasionally take longer due to factors beyond our control, such as customs delays, national holidays or technical problems from the forwarder’s side.

NB: As soon as your order has been validated, the BADELAINE team will start preparing your parcel. For an order placed after 4:00 pm on a Friday, on a Saturday or Sunday, your parcel will be shipped on the following Monday.

Can I track my order?
As soon as your order is dispatched BADELAINE will send you an email to confirm that your parcel has been shipped. You can track your order on www.colissimo.fr. Simply enter the tracking number provided in the email BADELAINE sent you.

What happens if I’m not home when the parcel is delivered?
In case you are not home when the parcel is presented to the address you’ve given to BADELAINE for the delivery, a delivery note will be left in your mailbox. The delivery note indicates the day and time the parcel was presented as well as the address of the nearest collecting point. You will need the delivery note and a valid ID card to collect your parcel.

NB: For France and Belgium, delivery by So Colissimo enables you to have your parcel delivered to your work place or to a shop with a partnership with the So Colissimo network.

Can I choose a different address to my home address? When you create your account on the BADELAINE website, you have the possibility to enter several delivery addresses. When you’re about to confirm your order, simply choose the most convenient address for the delivery. Please note that BADELAINE does not deliver to hotels and P.O. boxes.

Help! I haven’t received my BADELAINE parcel!
So Colissimo parcels are delivered between 2 to 3 days. Colissimo parcels are delivered between 3 to 10 days depending on the country of destination. Parcels are delivered against signature to the address mentioned on your order.

If you are not home when the parcel is presented, a delivery note will be left with the details you will need to collect it. Parcels are usually kept on hold for you for 15 days.

You may encounter various situations:
Past 15 days on hold at the post office, your parcel will be labelled “return to sender”. Our customer service will contact you within 3 days after the reception of the parcel to understand the reasons of the delivery problem and possibly arrange for a new shipment to be organized. If your parcel is “on hold” at the post office, simply bring the delivery note (or tracking number) in your possession with a valid ID card to collect it.
If you haven’t received your parcel sent either by So Colissimo or Colissimo and no delivery note has been left in your mailbox, please check the current situation of your parcel on www.colissimo.fr and get in touch with the postal services of your country.

How does it work with returns?
BADELAINE accepts returns of items provided they are sent back to us within 7 days of receipt of your order, unworn, complete with all original tags, and in original and resalable condition. As for refunds, BADELAINE can re-credit your account via a bank transfer of the amount of your order. BADELAINE will do so provided you claim for a refund within 7 days of receipt of your order and items are sent back to us unworn, complete with all original tags, and in original and resalable condition.
If your claim concerns items purchased on sale, please note that they can neither be submitted to exchange nor refund.

How can I modify or cancel my order?
Once you have placed and confirmed your order, it is impossible to access www.badelaine.com to modify or cancel your order.
However, you will still have the possibility to email us using the “contact” section on our homepage. Depending on the state of your order, our customer service will do their best to satisfy your request.

How can I be sure that the item I want is available?
All products shown on the BADELAINE website correspond to what we have in stock. Only sizes and colours in stock are available for order. However, it may happen that a particular item is out of stock due to a mistake. If that is the case, BADELAINE will contact you and will do their best to provide a satisfactory solution.

The article I want is out of stock! Can you do something about it?
If the article you would like to order is out of stock, you can contact bonjour@badelaine.com and we will provide you with an answer as soon as possible. An even easier option is to enter your email address in the pop-up window that will appear next to the item and BADELAINE will contact you as soon as the item is back in stock.  

Where can I get practical information about the product?
When browsing through the collection, simply click on the item you are interested in and a full description (composition, care instructions etc.) will be instantly available.

Can I create my wishlist ?
On every item page, you will find a which you can click to memorize your favourite articles. Upon your next visit to our website, all the articles you liked will be available again for you to see from your account in the “my favourite products” section.

How can I use my promo code?
If you have a BADELAINE promotional code (either via www.badelaine.com or the BADELAINE Facebook page), simply enter it in the relevant section just before you confirm your order.

What does “Oeko-Tex” label mean?
The Oeko-Tex Standard 100 is an independent testing and certification system for textile products from all stages of production (fibres, yarns, fabrics, ready-to-use end products, including accessories) along the textile value chain.
Up until 1992 and the introduction of the Oeko-Tex label, there was no label for consumers to refer to in the field of eco-friendly textiles.
